Our Mission

At a Fathers Courage. Com, our mission is too help fathers going through the life trauma of divorce or separation. We have found that just by talking to someone going through the same thing can have a great impact on one’s well being. That by sharing ideas, goals, and experiences can make all the difference in the world.

Our mission is also to help you not lose it. Of course you are going to get mad, angry, frustrated, and yes even sad. You are probably feeling a sense of hopelessness. But you know what? There is hope. You just have to believe in yourself. You will experience every emotion imaginable. But you have to maintain your dignity, not only for yourself, but for your children as well.

Our mission is for the well being of your children. Your children, (depending on age), know more than what you think. Look at what you are going through! Can you imagine what they are going through? What they are feeling? Look at them. Get your strength from them. If you can do this your children will see this and respect you for it.

Our mission is to prevent violence and abuse by maintaining control and having a support system. These support systems can come from a variety of places. From A Fathers Courage.com, as well as from your friends, family, and counseling. With these support systems in place this can help eliminate violence and abuse.

Our mission is not to disrespect your spouse or partner. A Fathers Courage.com is not a website that disrespects women. You are better than that. We feel that by helping you through this trying time it will help you make better decisions when it comes to your children, ex-spouse, or ex-girlfriend.

Our mission is to share. We want to share our experiences with you. We want to know everything that you are going through. We want to share our experiences with you over such issues as court, child support, attorneys, visitations, schools counseling, etc.

Our mission is to help you heal. Before, during , and after your divorce or separation. You are going to heal. I know it might not seem that way now, but you will. Nothing is more important for your well being. For you to pick up the pieces and to start over again.

Our mission is to help you hold your head up high. No matter what happens, no matter what continues to happen, hold your head up high. I know what you must be thinking. “He does not know what I’m going through”. “Yes I do“. I know all to well what you are going through. I’m still going through it. You are a good and descent father. No one can take that away from you. You know it and your children know it too.

We are all in this together.

Thank You,

David and Dee
